Presentation Editor: When Charlotte Kinder treats herself to a two-week vacation at Austenland, she happily leaves bravery behind her ex-husband and his delightful new wife, her ever-grateful children, and all the rest of her real life in America . She donations bonnet and stays at a country manor House That year the provides immersive Austen experience, complete with gentleman actors bravery Who cater to the guests' Austen fantasies. Everyone at Pembrook Park is playing a role, purpose increasingly, Charlotte is not sure Where roles end and reality Begins. And as the parlor games turn a little bit menacing, she needs more than she Finds a good corset to keep herself safe. Is the brooding bravery Mr. Mallery as sinister as he Seems? What is Miss Gardenside's mysterious ailment? Was That year actual dead body in the secret attic room? And-Perhaps The Most of lasting importance-could the stirrings in Charlotte's heart Be a sign of real-life love? The follow-up to reader favorite Austenland the provides the Sami perfectly Plotted pleasures, bravery with a feisty new heroine, plenty of fresh and frightening twists, and the possibility of a romance That might just go beyond the bounds of Proper Austen's world. How Could it not turn out right in the end?
So I must admit I was a little afraid that it is a remake of the first Austenland and suddenly the story disappoints me. Fortunately, the plot is completely different bravery from the first (ok there is always the beautiful love story, blah blah blah). Charlotte, the heroine, is a mom. A wounded mother who saw her husband with some cross Justice. This is a result of this neglect, she decided to start reading the novels of Jane Austen. Charlotte discovers another world, another time when men did not let loose their wife for the first gourdasse bravery come! When Charlotte has the opportunity to go to Austenland, she did not hesitate and bends his bags for England (yes Charlotte American, believe that there is that American that are a fan of Jane brief )
Thumbnails of the real life of Charlotte, they are less funny than the previous bravery heroin but also more profound: it restores the unhappy marriage of Charlotte gradually which brings a lot of knowledge of his character.
On the Pembroke part, nothing has really changed ... but despite a slight alteration places There's even the characters in the first volume, the hostess and her husband (of course) but also Miss Elizabeth Charming! This time, the character is much more accentuated and beyond the clichéd side of the US somewhat farcical of the previous novel. Ditto for the third young resident. The actors are new .. and no gardener this time, but a maid. The plot itself, the author has this time honored Mansfield Park (in light touches) but also ESPECIALLY Northanger Abbey, sweet romance of the first game has been replaced by a detective story ... As Charlotte and we doubt it is difficult to detect the true from the false ... So life goes a little Austenland by the wayside. The end (which I will not reveal you) is a little big and stitched together even if I did not think the novel ended differently.
In short: As for the first, the author crunches fondly his characters. A much darker than the previous bravery end despite a fairly clichéd story. If you like the feel of Northanger Abbey go for it! However, bravery I really recommend reading Austenland before to fully enjoy this "Midnight".
