Jane Hayes is a New Yorker for 33 years, desperately single. She worships the adaptation of "Pride and Prejudice" performed by the BBC. She sees the future of human life on the basis of Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. Of course none can compete with an icon and Jane collects romance. When her aunt realizes this obsession BBC series, voith she decides to help Jane to excel. So she sends a vacation to Pembrook Park where clients live as in the books of Jane Austen.
The original idea of "Maid in Austenland" is amusing, but ultimately not very original since the series "Lost in Austen" deals essentially the same thing. We can also say many other things to this novel. The first is the lack of space taken up by the work of Jane Austen in the book, which is ironic for a tribute to it. Indeed, Jane Hayes is not obsessed with Mr Darcy but Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. This is indeed the series that is the fantasy heroine and not the original book. She hides the DVD in green plants (besides voith me wonder why it is so shameful to watch this series that quality) voith but it never talks about the novel.
And of course what interests our New York is the story of love between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy by concealing the irony, the whole societal voith criticism of Jane Austen. voith And it's totally unbearable, Shannon Hale is one of those people who transform the novels of Austen dripping bluettes of sentimentality in history at the publisher Harlequin kind. Everything I hate! And for once, his book resembles the image she has of the universe Austen: voith it is completely devoid of humor, the story is stitched together and ends as a romance for jaywalkers .
"Maid voith in Austenland" is a tribute totally missed in the world of English novelist who once again goes for an author without depth and classify the radius Harlequin. Austeneries decidedly not made for me!

I did not read his adaptation makes me the eye for a long time mainly because of JJ Feild who also plays Tilney in Northanger Abbey O :)) but I admit that your criticism does not surprise me . Austenerie level last year, I had a crush on "None but You /" For you alone "Susan Kaye, a rewrite of Persuasion in terms of Capt. Wentworth. Gem unfortunately not translated into French. :)

I saw the movie, voith I read the book, I liked the movie, by far ... The cast is fantastic, and I laughed a lot as it is filled with clichés (done on purpose). The relationship between voith the two characters is better voith exploited ...
