But we could not fulfill our desire and we could only see the Villarica, which incidentally is one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world, removing smoke and ashes. What a shame ... However, the views of the volcano from anywhere in the city are impressive.
Once in Pucon, we walk through the center and visit the two lakes: the Poza and Lake Villarrica, the second volcanic sand, where we could swim. We also visited the tour craft, which sells clothing made of wool or alpaca.
The star activity is up to the crater of Villarrica, but to be on orange alert can not be accessed. So instead we went to the National Park Huerquehue and made a trip through two lakes Chico, Verde and Toro.
